This year we are collaborating with Arvee to streamline the experience.
Grab your camera, fire up the RV, and let's make history together.
The Great American RV Scavenger Hunt is a nationwide virtual photo competition running July 1–31, 2026.
Five weeks. Five themes. Endless Possibilities.
Each week brings fresh challenges, new winners, and more reasons to keep playing.
Casual players can jump in and win any week.
Serious competitors rack up cumulative points all month long for a shot at one of five Grand Prize bundles in the finale.

The Learn to RV Great American Scavenger Hunt is hosted on Arvee — a trip planning platform built by RVers for RVers.
Arvee is where you'll find the weekly challenges, submit your photos, and track your spot on the leaderboard all summer long.

Weekly Themes
A brand new challenge list drops every Sunday at 9am Central. Challenges get more creative, and more competitive, as the month goes on. Show up every week or risk falling behind on the cumulative leaderboard!
Week 1
July 1st - 4th, 2026
Fourth of July Fever
Bomb pops. Flags. Fireworks. Patriotic campsite setups. Red white and blue everything.
This is pure Americana and the perfect warm-up week.
Plenty of challenges to get on the board fast and a Grand Slam bonus for the overachievers.
Wait for the list. It's a little bit red, white & blue!!!

Week 2
July 5th - 11th, 2026
Route 66 Vibes
Classic American road trip energy — retro diners, roadside attractions, vintage signs, wide open highways.
You don't have to be on Route 66. You just have to bring the spirit. Challenge difficulty ramps up this week.
Points close: Saturday July 11th at midnight Pacific
Winners announced: Sunday July 12th at 7pm Central

July 12th - 18th, 2026
Luau & Pool Party
Island fun, tiki energy, summer splash — leis, inflatable floats, camp pool scenes.
More Photo challenges added this week.
Things start getting creative and the competition starts getting real.
Points close: Saturday July 18th at midnight Pacific

Week 4
July 19th - 25th, 2026
RV Rally Spirit
Campfire cookouts, s'mores challenges, potluck setups, neighbor meetups, wagon circle moments.
No rally required — just bring the energy.
If you happen to be at a rally this week you have a serious advantage.
Make it count.
Points close: Saturday July 25th at midnight Pacific
Winners announced: Sunday July 26th at 7pm Central
Week 5
July 26th - 31st 2026
The Grand Finale
This week is different. Every point you earn this week adds directly to your full month cumulative total.
All five weeks combine into your Grand Prize score. This is where the leaderboard shifts.
This is where legends are made.
Do not sit this week out!

Here is what is different about Week 5 and you need to read this carefully. 👇
Every single point you earn this week ADDS to your cumulative total from all four previous weeks. The points do not reset this time. They STACK. Every challenge you complete. Every photo you submit. Every point you earn between now and Thursday July 31st at midnight Pacific goes directly toward your Grand Prize standing.
The top 5 players on that leaderboard when the clock strikes midnight on July 31st are our Grand Prize finalists.
Five players. Five themed prize bundles. Five winners taking home something real from sponsors who believe in this community.

What happens if there is a tie?
Y'all. We have been here before.
Last year — in the very first Learn to RV Summer Scavenger Hunt — we had a TIE. A real one. And we had to figure it out on the fly. This year we were READY.
If the leaderboard shows a tie in any of the top 5 positions when the clock strikes midnight on July 31st — the tiebreaker challenge list drops at midnight Central Time on July 31st along with the names of the tied competitors.
Everyone else gets to watch.
Tied players have exactly 24 hours to complete the tiebreaker challenges and submit — same rules as always — ESPECIALLY in a tiebreaker.

It could happen. We planned for it.
If two or more players are tied for any of the top 5 leaderboard positions at the close of July 31st — we are not just flipping a coin. This is the Great American RV Scavenger Hunt. We do things properly around here.
At midnight Central Time on July 31st a special tiebreaker challenge list drops along with the names of the tied competitors. Everyone else gets to watch. 👀
Tied players have 24 hours to complete the tiebreaker challenges and submit according to the same rules as always — gamertag, challenge number, correct thread, no exceptions even in a tiebreaker.
That means the tiebreaker closes at midnight Central Time on August 1st.
Now. About that.
Midnight Central is 10pm Pacific and 1am Eastern. We know. We are telling you right now so you cannot say we didn't warn you. You are RVers. You have watched the sun set from every time zone in this country. You know exactly what midnight Central means for you personally.
- West Coast competitors — you get a bit of an early start. ☀️
- East Coast competitors — you get a little extra time. 🌙
- Mountain and Central — you're right in it. ⏰
This is not a surprise. This is not a disadvantage. This is time zones. It is a real thing. It affects your life every day on the road and it is affecting the tiebreaker too.
Plan accordingly. Set your alarms. et the challenge begin & Finish strong.

Weekly points
Points reset every Sunday at 9am Central when the new challenge list drops.
Anyone can win any week — even if you missed the week before. Jump in anytime.
Cumulative points
Never reset. Every single point you earn across all five weeks adds to your Grand Prize total.
Show up every week and protect your standing on the leaderboard.
Points close every Saturday at midnight
Week 5 closes Thursday July 31st. No exceptions. No late entries. No appeals. Set your alarms.
📸 HOW TO SUBMIT — READ THIS CAREFULLY
This section matters. Submissions that do not follow every requirement below will not be counted. No exceptions.
Every submission must be submitted to the Arvee Platform
✅ Your assigned gamertag will be assigned by Arvee — exactly as it was assigned at registration
✅ The challenge number — from that week's official challenge list
✅ Your photo — clearly completing the stated challenge
Step 1: Create your Arvee account if you haven't yet
Step 2: Visit the hunt dashboard weekly for new challenges
Step 3: Complete the challenge by uploading a photo or video, if approved you earn points
Step 4: The highest scorers every week win prizes and the highest scorers throughout the event win the grand prize
The Learn to RV Facebook community feed is where we celebrate, cheer each other on, and have fun together. It is NOT where you submit for points.
Submissions go in the correct weekly challenge on Arvee — period.

At the close of July 31st at midnight Pacific the top 5 players on the overall cumulative leaderboard are named Grand Prize finalists. Each finalist wins a themed prize bundle assembled from sponsor contributions:

Tiebreaker
In the event of a tie among any top 5 leaderboard positions a virtual tiebreaker challenge takes place on August 1st. Tied players are notified by 9am Central. If a tiebreaker is required Grand Prize winners are announced August 2nd.
