In 2022, after 23 years of living in a huge 5 bedroom Victorian Home, Jim & Michelle sold it and everything they owned to buy a 28 foot Airstream and pursue full-time RV living. They now travel the United States exploring some offbeat sites, and visiting some amazing (and some not so amazing) locations across the USA. They document their experiences on social media. Their YouTube channel features DIY tips, work camping experiences, and travel recommendations.

Jim is a professional photographer, voice-over artist, and has worked for over 20 years in the home improvement industry. Michelle is a cook, seamstress, former Public Library assistant, Christian Education Director, and is an amazing organizer.

We're Steve, Ashley, McKayla, Riley, and our dog Tango, a full-time RV traveling family sharing our adventures, challenges, and discoveries on our YouTube channel, Campfires and Motors. Our goal is to inspire others to explore the open road by showing both the beauty and the reality of RV life—from national parks and hidden boondocking spots to upgrades, repairs, and the stories we gather along the way.
