Tasha travels full time with her husband, Matt, their kids, Rosewood and David, a 16-year-old cat named Edward, and a spunky pup called Stella. In 2022, they traded their home of nearly 10 years for a long list of firsts: their first truck, a 350 dually diesel; their first RV; their first camping trip in an RV; and their first RV rally in January 2023. There they met the first members of their new community and got a taste of what RV life could be.
Described once as someone “distracted by the shiny,” Tasha wants to learn, see, and do it all, and that is reflected in her professional background. Between her first job at 14 as a waitress and going back to school at 27, she tried on a few hats, often juggling more than one at a time. She’s been a radio DJ, an assistant director for television news, a librarian, an amusement park ride operator, a nanny, a certified home health aide, a medical billing specialist, a preschool teacher, and a telemarketer, among others.
Tasha then graduated with a bachelor’s degree in professional and technical writing and a second in literary studies, and has built a successful career in marketing, writing, and branding. She’s written newspaper and magazine articles, print and web ads, website and social media content, and edited fiction and nonfiction books for publication. Her work has expanded to also include art-directing, overseeing print production, developing branding and style guides, and managing multi-million-dollar client accounts. Currently, she works remotely as the senior copywriter for a healthcare system serving 25 counties across the Ozarks. She also writes freelance and is developing a podcast.
After work, she enjoys going exploring with her family wherever their travel trailer has taken them.
