Shelley J. Dostie, OTR/L is a seasoned Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience helping neurodivergent children and teens thrive. In 2015, Shelley and her family hit the road in an RV for what turned into a 7-year journey across the U.S.—a life-changing adventure that introduced her to the world of roadschooling. As a homeschooling mom of two neurodivergent daughters, Shelley quickly recognized that families living and learning on the road need flexible, practical, and personalized support.

Out of this experience, Learning On A Curve & Alternative Paths To College Credit were born, a unique blend of therapy, coaching, tutoring, and alternative education strategies tailored for roadschooling families and beyond. Shelley understands the unique rhythms and challenges of RV life because she’s lived them. She combines professional expertise with personal insight to support families in building routines, strengthening executive function, managing sensory needs, and earning college credit while on the move.

Whether she’s helping parents become confident facilitators of their child’s growth or providing targeted support for learning differences, Shelley’s mission remains the same: to empower neurodivergent learners to grow with confidence, no matter where the road takes them.
