Bunky and Renee Griffith married in 1973, built a beautiful life together, raised two daughters, watched four grandchildren grow up, and now delight in three great‑grandchildren.
On December 3, 2024, they looked at each other and decided they were done saying, “One day we want to go there,” only to let life get in the way. So they sold their house, sold both vehicles, bought a Jeep, and stepped boldly into a new season with a 2013 Allegro Red diesel pusher.
They named their RV The Blessing, and the name is proudly displayed on both the front and back of the RV, because they truly believe every good thing comes from God. They don’t say, “We’re going into the RV.” They say, “We’re going into The Blessing.”
Their story of faith runs deep. In 1993, they served as missionaries in Ukraine, where they planted a church and trained local believers to reach their own communities. That church has since planted another, and they give all the praise to the Lord for the fruit that continues to grow.
Today, Bunky has fully embraced the RV lifestyle, and he says Renee is beginning to enjoy it more and more. They are an incredible couple - joyful, steady, and full of purpose.
When asked if this new chapter has been challenging, Bunky didn’t hesitate: “Yes, but the benefits outweigh the challenges.”
Their zest for life, their faith, and their love for the RV community are exactly why they’re here writing.
They are a blessing to others living inside The Blessing.
